The Range and hand to hand combat

We started the day off at 6 a.m. tired. Diesel and I headed out towards Big Boss's house and met the Denver crew there. After all the pleasantries we headed to Denny's and enjoyed a hot cup of java and traded stories. Then we all headed out to the main destination in Santa Clarita to "A Place to Shoot" After signing the waiver and doing an hour of dry fire training, Ghost being former law enforcement (SWAT) gave us our safety procedures and away we went. We loaded up our magazines with the ammo supplied by Ronin, then we began shooting and the adrenaline starting pumping.

I enjoyed the tactical movement live fire that Ghost laid out for us, it was great practice for all of us. Then there was the stress test, which included 15 burpee's and running a line of malfunctioning weapons. We contended with stovepipes, double feeds, etc..... While huffing and puffing we had to run the line with 4 weapons, correct the problem and get a shot off on target, timed. I did the worst of all because of Rebel's crap of a gun, the best time was Redneck. After the range we headed to Rebel's house and began scenario training using Rebel's home. We did rip outs, in-home apprehensions, and breaching. We called it a night and got ourselves some well deserved sleep.
Waking up today we headed to a park nearby and trained on hand to hand tactics, it was a bit cold but we trained on handcuffing, approaches, weapon retention, and subduing the fugitives, it was brief but educational. All in all it's been a great experience.
